Ms. Summers-Day is a barred attorney in Hawaii, with deep roots in Southern California. She supports Epps & Coulson as a law clerk. And while her primary focus is in employment and complex healthcare litigation, she also has experience in bankruptcy preference actions and defense of both individuals and corporations in litigation. She is admitted to practice in state courts in Hawaii and expects to sit for the bar in California.
Before returning to California, Ms. Summers-Day worked at the Civil Rights Compliance Office for the Hawaii Department of Education. Ms. Summers-Day lives in the South Bay with her husband and young son.
Ms. Summers-Day is a graduate of California State University Long Beach, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Double Major in English Literature and Creative Writing. She received her Juris Doctorate at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, William S. Richardson School of Law.
