2025 IRS Mileage
On December 19, 2024, the Internal Revenue Service issued its annual notice[1] of the 2025 standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, moving, and charitable purposes. For employers, that is, the mileage that employers should pay employees for business travel. As of January 1, 2025, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (including vans, pickups, or panel trucks) will be 70 cents per mile for business miles driven.
